A4L National trigger event in collaboration with 1st Alpe-Adria conference of Medical Universities and Faculties

On June 7th, 2023, Faculty of Medicine (MF) University of Ljubljana (UL) organized 1st Alpe-Adria conference of Medical Universities and Faculties with the goal to initiate annual meetings of higher educational institutions in the field of medicine in region from Alps to the Adriatic sea. Event took place in the monumental former State Mansion of Carniola, the official seat of the Rector of University of Ljubljana. The objectives of the conference were to discuss and share good practices, challenges and advancements in the field of new technologies’ impact to medical education and research, and on mastering the art of combining research, teaching and medical practice.

A4L Skills academy

8–10 June 2023

When it comes to building capacities for being an excellent researcher, manager or co-worker of any kind, working on the underlaying soft skills is a must. A4L Skills academy 2023, hosted by University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Medicine on June 8 – 10, 2023, tackled just that. Under the profound knowledge and experience of four very skilled lecturers 30 participants from eight European countries explored their stress coping mechanisms, natural and accustomed role in creating team synergies and boosted their presentation skills.
