Report on Research Integrity

Del 1.6 Report on Research Integrity

These policy recommendations focus on strengthening research integrity and ethics within institutions, offering guidance on activities and structures. Since the A4L partner institutions are at different stages in developing their ethical research infrastructure, the recommendations are designed to be adaptable. Each institution can select relevant suggestions based on their specific needs. Research integrity is understood broadly, encompassing values like reliability, honesty, and accountability, which apply both to individual researchers and institutions. Research ethics addresses moral issues in research, ensuring principles like autonomy, confidentiality, and minimizing harm. Adherence to these norms fosters trust in science and supports good scientific practice.
